Asus VG278H Performance Review, Enhanced and Comfort

For those 3D display enthusiasts, this monitor comes with Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology which newer and improved. Movies and 3D games enthusiast are not necessarily familiar with this technology belongs to Nvidia 3D Vision. And to enjoy it, you must use the monitor also has 3D Vision Ready certification.

One of them was present at this Asus monitor. After previously also presenting 3D Vision monitors, this monitor is a newer version with graphics technology improvements.

3D Vision 2 offers several improvements for the sake of users convenience. One of them is sunglasses lens 20% larger so that viewing area getting wider. Plus 3D LightBoost offers 3D display brightness level up to double.

Asus VG278H has fully supports all the technologies that exist in the 3D Vision 2. The screen size of 27 inches is very helpful especially when watching 3D graphics. You can also adjust this screen position more freely because in addition to flexible screen adjustment position (left/right), height of this monitor stand can also be arranged.

Asus VG278H has a complete connection. However, to use its 3D capabilities, you must use the Dual Link DVI or HDMI 1.4. This monitor also has an integrated transmitter, making it more compact than the previous model. In the test, this monitor indeed proven to deliver better 3D display. The technology LightBoost works well to increase the brightness when 3D activated. But as technology shutter glass, flicker still persists even though practically minimal.
