LG Optimus 3D Hands-On 1

LG is being intensively marketed phone with Android base, now back to update its newest portfolio product, LG Optimus 3D P920. What makes this phone special? Let’s look at a little preview of the product reviewed by me.

Design

Packaged in an elegant black body, the LG 3D Optimus offers a dimension 128.8 x 68 x 11.9 mm which is very large when sometimes you want to put in your pocket. About product weight, the phone has only 168 gr, making it easier for you to carry it everywhere.

With a look that little similar to other Optimus LG phones series, the LG seems to want to introduce to the public that they are able to package a minimalist design touch, but have a quality phone performance.

3D capability Without 3D Glasses

It has a fairly widescreen, 4.3-inch LCD Screen, LG Optimus 3D can displaying 3D graphical with 480 x 800 pixels resolution crystal clear, without needing a 3D glasses assistance.

On a wide-screen, it is very comfortable to use for entertainment like watch 3D videos or 3D youtube, 3D photo view, and play exciting games that have available in the 3D format on their package.

Unfortunately, when playing games Golf Mania 3D, the 3D effect feels not so significant, even a little makes your eyes tired. For those of you who are not familiar with using 3D technology, LG is also presenting a 2D display option on this phone.

Impressive 3D Camera

Not only the quality of 3D displays without 3D glasses assistance, but LG is also embedding its product with an impressive 3D camera function.

Integrating dual camera with 5 megapixel and 2560 x 1920 pixels autofocus resolution, 3D Optimus can produce 3D images and video format nicely.

For about how to use it, LG also presents a feature like a capture important moments option in 2D or 3D quality that is very easy to use.

Unfortunately, to enjoy the 3D quality of this phone has not been able to realize on the screen because its monitor doesn’t yet support 3D images. So if you want to enjoy the photos or videos in 3D format, users can use HDMI connections that have been embedded on side phones, to display 3D graphics on a wide-screen 3D monitor.

Quality Batteries Not Long Lasting

One important point that makes a little disappointing is the quality battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh on this phone doesn’t last long.

For phone stand-by capacity supported by Dual-core processor 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9-powered, able to hold only 450 hours long. Meanwhile, when used to play games using the 3D view, this phone only lasted a few hours.

So, are you ready to spend your money to buy this 3D phone?  it’s up to you, but for me, it’s not, because I’m not enough money for about $600. :)
