Nokia previously been marketing the Lumia that carries the Windows Phone 7.5 OS in some countries somewhat less successful, now even HTC presuming to launching the first phone with Windows Phone OS 8, called as HTC Windows Phone 8X. Design and Display

On the application, Kid’s Corner is a place to sharing applications with your children. Where they will have their own Start menu containing music, videos, games and apps that you can specify.

Access will be through a separate lock screen. While in normal Lockscreen, you can swipe left to get to the Kid’s Corner. You can customize the appearance. Some people call it a second Windows.

But we can enable or disable the feature through settings menu. And this is a good effort so that your child does not access content that does not suitable to their age.

Internet and Marketplace

When used to navigate this phone, there are no significant problems. But when we used to play, 3D games are still going on ‘lag’. Since this is the first Windows Phone 8 phones in our lab, so we can not compare it to other Windows Phone 8.

Although there are the same benchmarking application Android phone owned, the Antutu, however Antutu party itself admits its benchmarking results can not be compared head to head between phones from two different OS.

Camera

Photo: 8 megapixel, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, geotagging, Video: 30 fps 1080p; Front Camera: 2 megapixel camera, 1080p video.

Advantages in HTC WP 8x is the camera resolution of 8 Megapixels brings to us the value of good capabilities.

The camera is able to compete with the 8 megapixel camera phone belongs to another, HTC added a shooting angle that feels more spacious than other phones with the same resolution.

On shooting in low-light conditions, the results tend to be somewhat yellowed, but all features set to the normal position (flash in ON condition). Some bright colors sometimes swept away, but instead produces a surprising color effects. On the other hand, for some black & white objects actually displays neat and more clearly.

While in normal conditions, during the day, the image is not bad at all.

Conclusion of Review HTC Windows Phone 8x

As the first product of Microsoft, Windows Phone 8 in our lab, HTC Windows Phone 8x manages to look solid. Not only in terms of hardware, but also look cute on the OS. But unfortunately there are some negative sides we get. Simply put, HTC Windows Phone 8x presents a simpler interface that is easy to understand. But there is one positive side we see is now Windows Phone is no longer tied to the Zune player to sync with the presence of a special application for PC or Mac.
